* Tilapia fish - 1 1/2 lbs * Scallions - 3 straws * Ginger - 6 slices * Garlic - 3 clover * Soy sauce for fish - 4 tablespoon
Preparation steps:
* Wash and clean fish (generally you can ask the guy who sold you the fish to gut and descaled the fish.) * Place over plate. Place 4 slices of ginger spread on top of fish * Cut 2 slices of ginger into small strips * Cut scallions into strips * Cut 3 clovers of garlics into halves (6 pieces)
Cooking steps:
* Preheat Wok with water till boiled * Place fish in to steam for 12 minutes. After taking fish out, there will be excess water from steam fish. You have 2 options, either reused the water or pour it out. Set fish aside. * Preheat searing or non-stick pan with oil (1 1/2 tablespoon) [medium-low flame] * Add garlic, ginger strips till slighly brown then add scallions for 30 secs * Add soy sauce [low flame] - if you are reusing the excess water from the steam fish, add it in for another 30 second and if not, then pour over fish. You are ready to served.
