* 1 or 2 Fuzzy melon * Pork or Chicken - 1/2 lb for pork or 1/2 chicken breast * Ginger - 2 slices * 1 Egg - fluff it with fork * 2 straw of scallions - cut into dices * Light Soy sauce - 1 tblspoon * Salt - 1/2 teaspoon * Oyster sauce - 1 tblspoon * Corn starch - 3 teaspoon
Preparation Steps:
Generally for 1 or 2 fuzzy melon, you would use a medium size pot. Fill with half pot of water or little more if you up for soups. No need to fill to top. You are just asking for a messy clean-up afterward.
* Boil water first - Use high flame till water boils, then switch to medium flame. * Cut pork or chicken into slices * Marinade with Lite Soy Sauce, salt, oyster sauce and corn starch * Peel or removed top fuzzy melon layer and cut fuzzy melon into small strips
Key: Use your hands to marinade, you are the Chef. Wash hand afterward.
Cooking Steps:
When water boiling.
* Add ginger into pot * Add fuzzy melon into pot * Add 1/2 of the scallion into pot * Let it cook for ~ 7 or 8 minutes or so (close lid) * Add meat into pot for another 3 minute * Add rest of scallion * Shut off flame, add fluffed/scrambled egg (Mix soup and egg lightly)
