Chicken are just great to cook. I was thinking to give a bunch of statistic on the protein and chicken facts. Then I am thinking what is the point, if you can get to my site; you can just Google the facts yourself. Instead, I would rather just give you "folk" belief on the benefits of Chicken.
Chicken are known to improve or restores blood. For example, the Cantonese believes that after childbirth, you should eat straightly chicken (literally a month worth) and the reasoning is that chicken has the necessary nutrients to restore a woman's health after much blood lost.
Chicken is much leaner comparing to the rest of the food groups. It is also a practice that chicken is used in many of the Asian soups due to the sweetness and nutritional value of the chicken. It's not simple chicken soup.
